Whenever I put on my ac my car idles up and down. When I let my foot off the brake the jumps forward.

I've heard of this happening, but can't remember exactly.
I think it has to do with the A/C clutch.
I'll see if I can find out for sure.

mine does the same thing but only sometimes. Mine idles between 500-800 and rough, and every 4 seconds it shakes a bit harder. Same thing with me take my foot off the brake it lurches forward.
A shop told me they couldnt find the problem.

I'm having the same problem as everyone describes. I know my a/c clutch is screwed, there's a plate on there that is extremely loose and it jiggles around, when the idle gets low the clutch sqeaks horribly. Surprisingly though, my a/c still works and blows cold as long as it's not idling rough.

If you havn't done the idle-hang-mod, try it,it help calm the jump for me....
