Welcome to CEG,
Three tips that will make your CEG experience more enjoyable and useful.
1) When you post in troubleshooting, make sure you always
include the year of your car. (it does make a
difference, as things changed from year to year) Also,
include what engine and transaxle you have. (if
applicable) This will enable us to answer your questions
more completley and accurately, and in a more timely
manner.
2) Include this info in the body of your post, because
while it is in your sig, not everyone has the option to
view sigs enabled.
3) Before you post, click on the FAQ link on the right hand
side of the Contour.org mainpage. Then click on the
common problems section, and look to see if your problem
is listed. If you still have questions, or if your
problem isn't listed, THEN post.
To answer your first question,
Click Here - FAQ This is a common problem in 95 tours, I've never seen it, and don't know how to replace it. If you need further assistance with this, I'm sure someone else who has replaced the regulator can help.
To answer your second question, I have another question. Are you saying that you can operate all of the windows from their respective switches, but the driver's door switch only operates two windows? If this is your case, your driver's switch is most likely bad. You can get one from
Ford Parts. Use the "contact us link" and fill out the form. They will get back with you pretty quickly. you can also get one at a local junk yard, or at your local Ford daler.
