My SVT has been garaged for a while and I want to run some fuel injector cleaner through it. In the past I have used that B-12 (I think the manufacturer was Berryman's if I remember correctly). Am I best off using that or are there some other cleaners out there that are better?
That or Seafoam are GREAT products. I use Seafoam in my Cougar.
The Berryman's is my preference. Big Jim will likely chime in here later with his. Personally, whatever it is that he uses is slighting better (IMO) but the Berryman's is much cheaper where I live...
I use whatever I can take from work. Right now, we have decent stuff, I think it's called 44K made by BG.

BG 44K is good stuff, but a little pricey if you don't have an "in."

Otherwise I use the Chevron Techron.
The BEST stuff that I have ever had put in my car was the valvoline foam injector clearner stuff. It is hooked up to the fuel line directly and then you turn off the fuel pump and let it do it's work. It is like $40-$50...and another $40 or so if you have a shop do it, but it is greaaaat stuff. MUCH better then any of the stuff you put in the tank.

As long as you adked for my input, I like BG 44K, Techron, and Red Line SI-1. I have heard good things about Valvoline Synpower as well. I like Berryman's for the vacuum suck intake cleaning.
Gumout with REGANE is also good stuff. I started getting CELs with both Valvoline and Chevron fuel system cleaners (they went away with a fresh tank of gas), but gumout gets the job done really well with no CELs. Just get the stuff in a a CLEAR bottle with yellow liquid and it says REGANE in small letters, the other gumout stuff is much less effective.

redline
Techron with every oil change (5k) and Berryman's thru-the-tube every 15k.
I use the generic MotoMaster stuff from CDN Tire, or that STP stuff.
STP stuff from Costco.. comes to about $1.95 or so per oil change
I've heard/read that STP is crap, but who knows?
Anyone use lucas? We sell about every brand that was mentioned in this post at my work. It seems the Lucas is the most popular. Price is also very effective. 3.59! I have noticed that it is much thicker almost like an oil compared to most brands. Its also sold as an upper cylinder lubricant. How do yo guys feel about the product? I have been using it for about a year now. My car seems to be running very smooth with the stuff!
I always use a bottle of the Lucas injector cleaner at every oil change, and have had good success. It contains no harmful solvents or alcohol like some other cleaners. Every auto parts store i go in highly advertises this product. I think its like $4 a bottle.
I used Lucus in the gas tank before. Worked pretty well for me, and that was just one treatment.

Ditto. I either use that or Seafoam or B-12. They all work well. I prefer the Lucas over the others and Seafoam has gotten high in price.

Yeah, no kidding. I just spent $6.59 for a bottle of Seafoam, compared to the Berryman's priced at $3.99. The Techron was dang 'spensive too. Ten cents more than the Seafoam.

Damn! I would have bought something else for that price. Ours jumped up from $3.59/bottle to five somethin.
