Anyone know what's the going price for a 1998 Contour V6 here in Western Canada?
I need to find my mom a solid, safe, used car. Of course my first thought was a Contour SE! I want to get her one with ABS, ATX, Traction Control, and Duratec. The rest doesn't matter.
I can find them around $12k Cdn, but what are people _really_ paying for these gems?
I'm not sure there were many 99s here in Canada (except SVT). Any good leads?

Buy a car in Wetaskwin (sp) just outside Edmonton. For some reason every time I go through there they have a $30K car selling for $15 on one of the lots
Kerry I just posted a thread about my 99CSVT for sale.T-Red with Tan. Car is located in Calgary. Moonroof, heated seats, nearly new KDW's, a set of winter Michelins on steelies and 55 000km. I am asking 15 500. Only real issue is a trunk that leaks once in a while. Other than that the car is clean.

So sad...I have 65,000 km on mine. Wonder what that makes mine worth...although it's a west coast car....

You can buy aftermarket kits that provide a butt and lower back heat pad that slide between the leather and the foam cushion. They cost about $200/piece + install. As for the ATX issue I didn't notice that requirement till just now. Yeah a west coast car is always real nice when looking at used. Even though I shod it with winter rubber my SVT generally only ventures out on the real nice dry winter days. For the nasty stuff we use the Dakota. If you think that price is good you should see what a dealer we give you for trade in. Yikes!
