what are you guys running for tires - summer/winter?

right now my stock rims have firestone sh30's on, not bad tire but they are bald. I get stuck everywhere.

decided not to buy blizzacks this year as "we wouldnt have any snow this year"

i have to drive with my traction control off or else i barely move haha i need some spin to get going. cant wait for this snow to be gone so i can put my summer tires on as listed in my sig. then i have too much traction

For winter I am running 15inch toyo winter tires. For summer I have the factory 16inch z tires that the car came with. They are almost bald, so I am going to have to buy new tires, so If you guys no a reasonoble priced tire please let me know, along with the price for all four. Thanx

update: i became sick of getting stuck everywhere and bought new tires, I got Firestone Affinity LH30 with UNI-T. they seem ok so far really good braking especially in this snow/slush. Cost me $530 for a set all round when it was all said and done.

these will be my backups for my RE730's.

Firestone Firehawk SH30 are awesome in the wet. I have a tiny set (185/60HR14) on the Isuzu. In wet slush, they are fine. In dry, fluffy snow, they are mediocre. Dunlop D60 A2 are better in the snow. In the dry, they are maybe half a notch less sporty than the Dunlops. But the treadwear rating is insanely good at 460.

These days, my choice would be Dunlop SP Sport A2 for H-rated.

Moving up, there is the value play in the Yoko AVS ES100 in W-rated.

Then there are the two at the top: Potenza S-03 and SZ50 EP.

I run Michelin Pilot Alpin in the winters on the Contour. Handles like an a/s performance tire in the summer, and a decent snow tire in the winter snow.

For summer i am running the Kumho Ecsta series, and for the winter im running 15" Hankook Zovak series. So far I can say im really pleased with the winter tires, I have been buried up to the bumper and haven't got stuck yet... As for the Kumho, great tire for the price.

Up till last summer i had the Firestone firehawk GTAs, but for the winter i'm running on some cheap Dunlop winter tires. Hopefully i'll upgrade this summer to better tires and wheels.

i know this thread is about tires but i'm in the market for light weight wheels. who has the best selection/prices around here on rims/tires.

I have the Yoko Paradas in Spec 2....215/40/18...I found
the original Paradas (first version) too hard for gripping
in rain. I don't drive if it snows.
