SZ Autox shall continue, NRSCCA has agreed to and scheduled an autox for the sunday ending spring zing, its just across the river at the new mid america center monday morning!

Any possibility for the track day to be on Friday, Sat or Sunday?
I really want to come but a track day on Thursday evening means I have to leave real early thursday or wed night and take off 2 work days not 1 like I (and probably a lot of others) was planning.
Track day has been Thursday for Spring Zing the last several years in Michigan. If anyone else had it planned any different, then they hadn't been to a Spring Zing before... Keeping with the traditional SZ layout, it goes Thursday = track day, Friday = welcoming day/car show, Saturday = dyno/scavenger hunt/banquette, Sunday = auto-X. I think that's the right order to keep it...
I have never been to a Spring Zing, but attended the National Meet in Dallas June, 02, and we had a great time. The order of events and what events to have, is always hard to get lined up. We should all appreciate that someone is putting together the event for all of us to enjoy, as it is a lot of work, I know, I have been eventmaster for at least one Solo II/autocross per year for about 20 years. We plan to see everyone in Omaha for a great time!
Looks like I will be leaving here about 6am to get there on time for the track.
I've only been to the 02 SZ, but I agree that the setup shouldn't really change. There seems to be a lot of parking lot partying, so the more spread out and less all day organized events would be better. I say just don't add to many things to it or cram everything into two days.
