has anyone dealt with the driveshaft shop. if so please post your experience with them. what stage shafts you go (1, 2, or 3). what setup you have? what hp and torque your making? have they held up and if so how many months. if not how many months. how much you spent on them. i am currently in the process of building a twin turbo contour with around 500 hp and torque. im either going with the 2.5 v6 duratec or the noble m400 3.0 v6 duratec.
Good luck with two (2) turbos

Sooo gl with what you plan. 2 turbos = you noob.
i talked to terry haines. im most likely going with the noble engine and a single turbo. but i need help to put the power down. i need peoples opinions on driveshafts, turbo, etc. so i can get an idea of not just what i like and see in mags but what everyone is actually using and actually working. i did take a double take and it looks like the rear exhaust manifold barely fits back there so how would a turbo fit. downstream by the cat but then all pressure is lost and a bigger single turbo would prevail. thank you everyone with your help. -James C
Replacing driveshafts is easy enough ... use the stock units until you have a problem, THEN replace them with DSS if you feel the need.
i dont have any drive shafts. the old engine, trans and drive shafts are all gone. new drive shafts are about $250 each from ford. DSS level 1 are $200 each, level 2 are $350 each and level 3 are $650 each. i need somebodys opinion who has dealt with them and which ones i should get. if level 2 are boarderline then i will just go with level 3. thank you everyone for your help. -James C.

How about real advice with sarcasm? Would you still refuse or would you take it?
has any used driveshaft shop axles?
Yep a few have.
positive or negative results. what stage did they purchase and how much torque where they putting out.
I'm making right under 450 crank Ft/lbs with stock axles.
That's with about 485BHP on stock axles, too.

Why worry until you have proven you NEED them? You've got enough money to dump in to your project right now. I think axles should be the LAST thing you are looking at. Look in to an LSD, a beefier clutch, and a built tranny. THOSE will cost more, not to mention your freakin M400! GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!

You want real advice? go for it, but spend your money where your cost:benefit ratio if the closest. Axles ain't it.

thank you for your advice. the only reason why i consider dss axles is b/c i dont have stock ones. they are gone along with engine and trans. the parts guy at ford said each axle will run like 250. thats why i considered dss axles. anywhere cheap i can pickup stock axles????thank you again for the advice. good and taken! -James C. p.s. thanks for the luck. i cant wait til its done.

I think you guys we're too sarcastic!
I have the old 'unrevised' DSS stage 2 axles. My passenger side axle broke on the dyno. Turned out to be a defective axle. Since its been replaced, i havent had any problems, of course I cant put any power to the ground either.
