Lately my ATX has been hard to shift from drive. I have no clue why...I have no trouble getting into drive but sometimes its just hard to get out...any ideas?
I'd check your shifter handle in the car. Pull cover and see if you need a bit of grease or if there is something binding.

Its just weird that if shifts into drive and all other gears fine but is a PITA to come out of drive into park
Also make sure you clearly hear a clicking noise when you depress the brake pedal with the ignition on. Crank the car, press and release the brake pedal several times and listen for the click each time the brake pedal is depressed. It should clearly be heard and should not sound very faint. If you have problems hearing it sometimes or you do not hear it all, then this could be your problem.
What you are listening for is a locking solenoid that releases the shifter from the drive position. It plays no part in the shifter returning to the drive position, but if the solenoid is not releaseing all the way or not at all this will/can make it very hard to impossible to move the shifter out of the Park position.
NOOO im having problems moving it into the park position lol... I hear the clicking though lol
I have this problem sometimes when the car rolls a bit after stoping. Trying pulling the ebrake after the car comes to a stop before releasing the brake and turning it off, and see if that does something.
