I got a job promotion! First hand I have to thank God and my family and friends for their prayers! I don't know if any of you remember me writing about not getting the promotion a few months back. Whats great is that my new job cuts my 102 mile commute (round trip) to work down to 5 miles!!! I have so much to be thankful for. Its true things happen for a reason. If I would of gotten the first promotion I would be stuck driving the 102 miles for a long time. Hard work pays off! Now my next step is to get my MBA. I have a meeting with an admissions coordinaitor on tuesday!!!

cool man
pass on the good luck.

My husband just got a COLA of 2%
That's the first one he's gotten in a couple years.
He needs out of that company and in something better.

glad you realize that, and congrats. Now if we can only get that across to a few million of Americans...

Congrats! I'm doing the 102 mile commute thing now too (~1 hour driving plus 1 hour on the subway, each way), I know exactly how it feels. What will you do with all that free time

I'm far too tired/sick/lazy to search ... what is the new job/etc?

With all the time I have now I will be getting my MBA. The new job is Marketing/Sales. Where I want to be in my career I need to continue to go to school.
