Technically it'll be illegal.

Here's a legal MS-DOS alternative: Free DOS

I've seen all versions of MS-DOS downloadable before, but I'm sure Microsoft shut em down. They probly make a few bucks selling super outdated stuff.

3.1 or 3.11 "Windows for Workgroups" ?

I have all versions of Windows since 3.0, and MS-DOS since 1.0

I bet you can find something on ebay.

wtf, I'm thought microsoft released the source code for anything < windows 95

Should be able to get it wihtout too much trouble.

But I must ask, WHY? Linux is free and could be powered by a hampster on a wheel. Also has support, gobs of it.

I think you're thinking of Macintosh... Apple released Mac OS 7.5 a long time ago for download...
