update on my mom - CEG Archives

heres an update on my mom
for those of you who dont know
my mom had open heart surgery about a month ago
she has been up and down in her recovery
on thanksgiving her kidneys failed
we nearly lost her
but she is in intensive care on dialisys
im just posting this to ask for your prayers
she is a very loved teacher at her school
and she is a very godly woman
my dad has not been back to work either
we just need your prayers

Sorry to hear that man..

Cancer is a hard thing to deal with, I lost my father 4 years to cancer myself.

Sorry to hear the news.

Dialysis is a painful process for all involved. It's just one of those things you never wish upon anybody, I really hope my kidney's dont fail on me. I could not go through something like that.

Hey...your mom and your family are in our thoughts and prayers....I lost my grandmother and stepdad earlier this year w/in 2 weeks of one another so I know what you are going through! Keep your chin up and have faith!

Man, good luck. I know how it feels. My dad passed away last week. and my mom went in for a surgical biopsy for possible bone cancer yesterday.

I prayed for her too - keep me updated on her.

Prayer is a powerful thing I don't think I need to remind you of that. For those that have prayed, pray again for healing, restoration and miracles to happen. For those who will be telling others about Strother's mom, keep the whole family in your thoughts. This time of the year is extremely tough and I have been so thankful to my CEG family for supporting me when I have needed it and I know that when another person, a fellow CEGer is in trouble, the family rallies around them.
