So yea I walked out of work today to find my front end all smashed up. Someone in a 4x4 truck backed into my vehicle and drove off. I don't know who it was and there was no one around as far as I can tell. I have a perfect imprint of the trailer hitch on my bumber. I just got a new header panel in cause the other one was cracked before. I put that in and it turns out that the frame isn't bent. THANK GOD!! But I need new: Bumper, hood, grille, headlight assemblies. Anyone help me out? I am willing to pay, of course, but I won't be able to pay till a week from friday.

If anyone has these peices please let me know ASAP.

I've had this happen twice to me, once I got hitched in the rear which left an nasty dig in the lower bumper and the second time some a'hole in a moving van backed into the front of my car WITH my wife and son in it, my wife yelled something to the effect of "what the eff do you think your doing!?" and the guy peeled off...

Now-a-days I take to being the a'hole that parks off in the distance and happily takes up two spots on an angle cuz I'm TIRED of dealing with other peoples sh*t, seeing as it only appears that people with nice cars give a DAMN about em.

If for any strange reason your still in need of some headlights by mid next month shot me a PM and I'll gladly ship ya my hazed (~200+K on em) headlights as that's when I'm replacing mine.

My 'tour is a idk like a beige/gray/green color. I honestly don't know what color it is. I don't car for the color of the new bumpers or hood either. I mean i don't need them right away, but getting ones that aren't f-ed up would be nice. When I do get the extra $ and get the new parts I'll go get it painted, and get a color change while I'm at it.

p.s. I already had to drop something like $250 so far for internal parts, battery holder, hood prop, header panel, radiator, raditaor mounts, etc. I got so much other [censored] to worry about this is not somehting i wanted/ needed. Anyways thats my bitching for now... thanks agian.

I have a 98+ front bumper you can have, you'd have to cover shipping but i'd be free otherwise......

It takes 5sec to snap a pic. I do this if I'm leaving the car parked for extended periods of time..example at the mall. What can I say after having your custom car vanelized 3 times in a year and a half and finding your car damaged from people beside you, it gets annoying.

I totally understand, but chances are the car you parked next to at the mall wont be the same car/cars that will be next to you when you get back.

But like what was said, with your luck your better off buying some orange cones to store in the trunk and place around your car everytime you park.

Perhaps a perimeter sensor would also be a good idea.

Honestly, I agree... even tho most places where you would leave your car for a period of time has camera's watching the parking lots. For example at a mall they usually have cameras for that. Also so do most parking lots for like train stations, bus stations, parking garages, etc. Unfortunately when this happend I was out in Ohio at Nationals for rifle shooting and I was in the middle of Port Clinton and on a guard base. They don't have this feature. I wish to hell they did so I can my F***ing money back...

are you back in lowell now?

if so there are three junk yards fairly close.
there is lowell used auto parts on tanner st.
tanner street is right off of the lowell connector, exit 4.

then there is Jacks.
that is off of 495 exit 37. heading towards billerica.

then off of rt 3 exit 27 (i think) is hollands.
