Hey guys i am new to the contour scene. just bought a 99 svt silver frost. was wondering what kind of events you guys go to or if any of you guys live around the indiana area.

I do miss the taking curves in B-Hills at 50 though!

There are meets sometimes you just have to keep checking in.

thanks guys. i just put a new spec stage 2 clutch with the fidanza flywheel in my car. and then drove it twice and the second gear synchronizer started to go out. anyways i was just wondering what kind of meets you guys go to?

nice car...I'm not too hot on the svt overlays on the rear tails but looks good. Everytime I see the focus svt rims on a SF it makes me wanna get some...

If you want a stock hood lemme know, Ill gladly take that one off ur hands!!

ya i wont be letting that hood go anytime soon. i really like the hood and i am in search of a trunk lid to go along with it but from what i am told they are few and far between. also i have the bat suspension kit on the car as i am told by the previous owner. my question is, why is it that my car looks like it has a 400 pound chick riding in the back seat. is there a way that i can adjust the front to make it an even clean look?

i would get rid of the ghetto fabulous svt cpvers on the break lights. i am suprised that the cops havent been involved yet. nice car otherwise.

I'm going to second M!key's comment... those tails are just beggin for trouble.. I do like the painted reflector though.

Anywho, I have some nice OEM tail lights if you want a set. Sell for cheap. Get rid of those ghetto tails ASAP! Just for safety alone!

alright guys so i just got a new set of taillights from a shop down the road from ours. they had a wrecked 98 that was hit in the front so i borrowed the tail lights from them so to speak. i am thinking about keeping the reflector piece painted just because i think it looks nice but what are your guys opinion on what i should do to it?

painted reflector is cool.

BTW -- just wanted to add that I have an extra stock 98+ reflector in excellent shape here at the house if you want to swap your painted one for a normal red one.

What did that car cost you with the mods?

i actually traded a highly modded pontiac grand prix for it and some cash so it didnt technically cost me anything.
