I got my contour a month ago and the radio did not work.
When i turn on the headlight/running lights the numbers on it would light up but i could not turn it on.
I just got a new reciever but i dont want to install it becasue im not sure if the amp is working correctly.
If anyone could help me test this it woulb be much apreciated.

Is the replacement a stock cd/radio, or aftermarket, and did you check the power at the wiring harness (12 volts constant, run.)?

i have a spare stock amp if you want to buy it ...


also you didn't say but I am assuming because you are refering to the factory amp that you have the stock cd player? because if you don't you don't have the external amp

sound like a blown fuse.
