WTF Are You Des Moines guys doing up there???

I was wondering if you guys notice stuff going on in your area. Today we had a car show in Ottumwa,my first car show ever, it was Beach Blast. Well anyway I came in and was watching the cars roll in when I saw this.

I was like HUH

I mean the car did have a nice stereo install, but................... :rolleyes: Anyway, Rick you need to find this guy and let him know what a tour SVT is all about. I did place 3rd in the sport compact class

I saw that car in Des Moines a few weeks back. It about made me sick! BTW, as far as what we've been up to, we built the first blown 3 liter and then it blew up on the dyno last friday! So now I'm back to rebuilding the motor again. Check the dyno forum for the info if you want the whole story.

Yeah I read about your misfortunes Rick. I am sorry to hear about that, I was hoping to come see it sometime. Hopefully you can build it better than ever.

When were you down there Packrat? I was down there yesterday too and saw a Jetta and all I could think was "that looks like the pics that Packrat posted of his new car" Granted there is more than one Jetta in DSM area but still kinda weird.

Speed Demon, I'll still be coming to SZ. All ready decided on that for sure. Might have to drive the Escape but we'll be there.

Yesterday afternoon. If it had Minnesota plates it was me. I was mostly on University and then some on Merle Hey Blvd. I scared a riceboy on Merle Hey! It seemed that he let off the gas when he heard my turbo spoolin'!

Don't think it was you then, would have been roughly 3:00 on I-80.

It's ugly, it's very "bling bling", makes me sick looking at it, but it's not my place to judge, if he likes it so be it.

The rims need to be gold for extra bling effect. We could powdercoat those rims in translucent gold, ya, that'd be cool... :rolleyes:

As for the car, it looks like something that I would see back in New Mexico piloted by a single mom with 4 kids in tow who obviously do not share a birth father.
