Jenna and I are off to have a baby. We are going to the hospital to get this thing done TODAY! (right now, actually..) She is overdue, and they are inducing her. The next time you hear from me, I'll be a DADDY!

Another Ceg'r I know had a baby on the 25th and I saw those pictures last night. Get busy dad.

6 Lbs 15oz
19 inches
not much hair, but she had a wrench in one hand and a waterpump in the other!!!

Complications led to a Cesarean, but after a week of much needed rest and bonding we are home and happy!

She's absolutely perfect, and healthy as an ox.

10 fingers, 11 toes... its all there!!! I can't believe how happy I am.

One "cool" thing:
This is a family doctor and during the surgery, I stood next to Jenna, and talked with the doctor over the shroud they had up. I watched the entire surgery, from beginning to end. I got to see everything she had in her taken out, then a baby, then everything put back in.. It was actually a pretty awesome thing to see, and made me see Jenna in an entirely different (and much more special) perspective..

The baby I refered to is a boy (Ben), if she likes younger men. The dad comes complete with 3 Contours, so I think the inlaws will get a long.

Glad you caught that.. lol.. I said that when I carried her out of the OR, and was walking her to the nursery. My whole family was standing there bawling and were asking if she was okay, and I told them that she was absolutely perfect. 10 finger, 11 toes, etc etc..

They all sighed and did the whole "awwwwwww" thing. One person, like 3 minutes later was like, "wait.. ELEVEN TOES????" lolol

My daughter was born by c-section and I got to watch as well. It was a pretty awesome experience, wasn't it Ray.

Both my girls were born by c-section, and I was there by my wife's side, but forturnately, I didn't see any of the... unpleasantness.

Well said......I will be experiencing this soon enough!

Newest pictures of Raelei, just over 3 weeks old, now!

She's grown an inch and a half! (20.5) and weighs 7.6 now! Sleeps through the night (from 11:00 to noon) and cries only rarely.

I am still in a state of awe every day.. You can literally SEE her learning things.
