Anyone aware of any car shows this summer?
Ones that don't cost $45 a day to show would be nice.

Post them up if you know about them.
I'd like to hit at least one this year if possible.
I'm missing those times when we'd hit at least 3 or 4 in a season.

I'm thinking about hitting this one up, but it's a little far for you. Only $10 though.

I have to start searching around again, there are some in CT that I wanted to go to last year but didn't make it to ...

of course it hard to find a show to go to, they are either for classics only or are the typical ricer car show, stupid looking cars and lots of people playing loud music, etc, not a show I want to go to ...

I take it you got a FFW flier also?

I got one, but I didn't open it.
I didn't want to see if they raised the price again, but I don't doubt they did.

considering how cheaply made the trophies are, those judges sure are raking in hella loot eh?

I bet they fly first class to the shows too.

I'd like to see what the cost is for the Tasca show at New England Dragway. Kim and I went to that a few years ago and it was a lot cheaper than FFW. It kinda felt like a mini FFW. Man I miss those days. This would be a little nostalgic for the old time NECEGers.

I don't pay anything over $20! Paying $ to lose is capital gh3y. Always some other craptastic car that wins with some retarded impracticagl mod that costs eleventy billion to do. Your 98 Kia is still worth less than a non moded GL 4 cyl Contour. The one in GR in August you have a choice to be judged and that one is $15. I'll just go to hang out with friends. The last one in G. Haven was $10. Just a small town show of about 200 or so cars.

I hear ya on that one.
I don't mind paying because I know not everything is free. Also I don't expect to win any trophies, so I don't mind if my money goes toward awarding some awesome rides.
But the price has to be reasonable. It's a car show afterall. It's supposed to be fun, not eat at people's wallets when all they want to do is see cool cars.

I think FFW is so expensive just to pay the gas for that chubby judge to ride around in his golf cart...
