Hi everyone. I drive by my house every Friday night and see lots of car (honda) clubs meeting every week. I look and think "wow, it would be nice for that to happen with my car.) then i sit back and think that it would be nice if CEG would do that. Finding other enthusiast was one of the reasons i joined CEG. Well, i think it is time that we try to get something organized. i am not talking about meeting every Friday night or every week. I think it would be nice though to meet once a month. I know we tried to put a meet together earlier this year, but it didn't go over real well.We found there were alot of problems.

PROBLEM 1: We had alot of people planning to attend and then at the last minute, they couldn't. My idea is to organize far into advance and have set dates so everyone can plan on it.
PROBLEM 2: was location. Alot of people were coming from alot of places.

To answer these problems, i attatched a poll so we could vote and then later on, set the exact date and times. feel free to post any ideas not given in the polls. thanks

Well, there it is in it's beauty. Take the poll and we can try to figure this out. we ultimately want something everyone can attend. For some, driving may be required. Feel free to post opinions. THanks

p.s. Unknown to me, you can only place one item. So for now, i will just be guaging interest and trying to find a compatible day. Feel free to also put location ideas and times down and they will end up in a later poll to be voted on. thanks

I am in! I am in Millcreek/Bothell about 25 min from Renton. I was thinking about posting the same post you did just today also. I have seen 3 sweet SVT Tours this week so I know they are out there.

Sunday would work pretty good, or Thursday nights. I know we dicussed this a lot. But, I may be leaving the CEG scene soon. After finding my new dream car, I might just get it. I saw it at the ford dealer tonight. (also saw a nice ass svt with black rims and svt liscense plate,(not for sale though,

)) anyways. I will still be attending. I am trying to get a lady from Bellevue to join CEG, she has a 95 MTX LX. She has done many things to her car, mostly asthetics as I have heard. I really want to get a meet going so please everyone try hard to figure out a time we can all meet up. Its 1 day out of the month for a hour or two.

Also, any day works for me since I work nights.

I'm down. Right now I have Wed/Fri off, but as soon as we hire the new guy I will have Sun/Mon. I personally would like to maybe do it Sunday, because that is the day I am really aiming to have off.

Tuesday? Wednesday? Thursday? Early Sat, Sunday? Whatever the decision count me in!

Sounds like we might have something to work with. Right now, it would seem Fridays or Sundays. Lets continue to to wait a while and be thinking of the other considerations.

ok, well, i would definitely like to meet up with the 3.0L. If enough of you are interested, we can put a meet together in early Nov. before our fellow CEG member ships out. Think of it as a patriotic meet. I am thinking something like Saturday November 8th at 9:30 am. We could meet at Southcenter Mall(a good central location from just about anywhere). How does that sound to everyone that has posted so far. While we are there, we can also discuss the days for the rest of the meets and i will post for all those who were unable to attend. Does it sound like a go????????????

I'm certainly in for any weekend. I drive all around Washington anyway...I live in Vancouver WA and work in Oak Harbor WA! I'll keep watching for the details guys.

So get this, I went to go look at some options to buy a mach1, escape, or explorer sport. and while we were waiting I saw a 99 se black mtx contour with 50k on the odometer. I ran the credit app but won't find out till monday, anyway you look at it, I am getting it and keeping my 95se atx. I am so flipping happy. I can't wait!!!! holy [censored]!!!!

Now that is awesome. Not only did you keep the old tour, but you got another one too! That is sweet. I also was wondering if some of the Oregon guys can come to these meets. I don't think I'll make all of them, but I might be interested in attending every once in a while. Let me know.

I can't make that. Saturdays are pretty much the only day that is not good for me, but I also have some manditory work stuff that day. I could probably make any other day.

Ok, well it sounds as if we have alot of interest for Saturday Nov. 8th at 9:30am. I think it will be a go. We can all meet at Southcenter mall by the Bahama Breeze (North Side) restaurant. ANy CEG members or contour owners are welcome. All of you from oregon are also welcome. Mike, sorry about you not being able to come on Saturdays. I would like to move it to sundays for later meets, but that won't help for this one. We will miss you and your supercharged tour. Llane, congrats on the new car and i expect it to be there looking good. It looks like based on poll totals and messages that Saturday is the best time.
I only see one for Sunday.
I am for 10:30am on Sat. I also want to see the 3L!!!
Let's set a date that the majority agree on, that would mean more people going.

i am half way between south center and south center. I can meet anywhere within a 20 min drive.

I am in 100%. I may even have my car lowered by then. and well, on the 18ths I will have my new rims and tires hopefully!!!!
