Hey, I know Kerry had mentioned he might dig up some pics of his Impulse, so I figured maybe some of us other NW members out there have beaters or 2nd cars to share. Lets see them!

Here's mine (it really is an 85si just with 86-87 si wheels on it for racing):

The CRX is one Honda I like. Have a friend who drives a 1990 CRX Si. Cool little car. So fun.

My 2nd car isn't a racing car or a beater...it's just a toy for buzzing around in. I'll dig up pics. (Hey! I almost forgot though, it was featured in a 1/4 or 1/2 page photo in Sport Compact Car many years ago!)

Kerry
OK. 1991 Isuzu Impulse XS wagonback. Unknown how many were made, but certainly it's only a few thousand maximum. I have never come across an American who owned one, so I think these may have only been sold in Canada. Until last year, even the tires were stock! Currently has 96,000 km on the odo.

Specs: 1588cc DOHC 16V 4-cylinder. 130 hp @ 6800 rpm and 102 lb-ft @ 4600 rpm. Dual intake runners just like our Duratecs, open at 4600 rpm. Redline 7700 rpm. Fuel cut off 8100 rpm.

Suspension and steering were jointly developed by Lotus Engineering in the UK and Isuzu. Engine and transmission is shared with the 1991-95 Lotus Elan. Lotus has helped tune many cars' chassis, but the Isuzus are the only cars other than Lotii to ever wear Lotus badges.
