is there any other car besides the contour that would fit my 97 mystique gs????? Turbo wise?

Can we have that question in English now?

I'll hazzard a guess at what you're asking:

This kit will fit any MTX V6 derivative be it Contour, Mystique or Cougar.

No ATX cars or I4's with the Street Flight Turbo kit.

Yo stazi, i would say ur wrong....but i'm not 10000% sure....but doesn't the kit fit atx's as well

i'm pretty sure someone was working on making one work on ATX (hightower?).

Well, I hate to burst your bubble, but RIGHT NOW, there is NO kit to fit the ATX cars. The trans is just too HUGE and occupies too much room in the engine bay.

Hightower has nothing to do with the SWtreetFlight Turbo kit anymnore.

I think you mean "Isn't there a car out there that will fit in my turbo without the air in my pants being like bananas? Jelly wise."

What makes you say that? I didn't know I made such a decision.

I have an ATX and the turbo kit is going on my car.

Excellent! We don't want the father of the turbo contour V6 to be without the fruits of his labor!
BTW Chris, I am in Texas now how close are you? I wouldn't mind meeting up some day soon. You may be aware that I am at Fort HOODlum now...er Ft Hood!

Call me or post pics when the Turbo Kit is on ANY ATX CDW27. Then and only then will I wear a black eye. But from what I have heard, DIRECT from SF, the down pipe and up-pipes simply do not fit with the ATX trans. The ATX trans is just way too big. So short of mounting the turbo in the passenger seat, I don't know how it will fit.

I am not trying to be an ass. I am just stating the facts.

As for father of the V6 Contour.....

The best of luck to you Chris H. But don't hold your breath.

Nah, you read it wrong. He said father of Turbo V6 Contour.

It was only an implied title as he has been fighting for a v6 turbo kit for so long. He also helped with all the original coordination that got SF started on the kit.
No, I didn't mean he impregnated a v8 for v6 offspring...

the piping may have to be totally different, but I'm sure it can be done. Turbos can be done on a contour w/ zetec (which isn't that much smaller than a duratec), so I think it could be done.

We have a lot more room in our engine bay.

Ahh, look again!

As for Chris. I know he helped with the marketing of the SF Turbo Kit, and he should be thanked for that. I also contributed a lot of technical help on it too, but we won't go into that.
