I'm getting 225/40/18's and would like Michelins,but to $$$. SO, second choice is Kuhmo (cause they are a ALMS sponsor) which one? Thinking ASX.........

is this for ur zetec? if so then yes michelins will cost u a pretty penny, mine sure as hell did and are totally worth it..anywho try goodyears or bridgestone

What type of tire are you wanting? Performance, all weather, touring, ... ? Either way, I think you'd do better (better tire and less money) with Falken or Kumho.

ASX are good.

But I'd get azenis or if you need something longer lasting/all seaon, then ziex 512

I have the ASX(s) on my car. They are a good tire for a great price. My 205-55-16s ran 67 each from tire rack.

Thanks guys, I just ordered 4 225/40/18 Kuhmo SPTs from Tirerack. Got them for $86.00 each.

I've got the exact same tires. I only have about 500 mi. on 'em, but so far they are good tires for the $. They are light(for 18's), have a decent treadwear rating, and I like how "ecsta" is molded into the center block of the tread. The only complaint I have right now is they're hard as a rock when cold.
