Hey guys,

I'm going to get my rotors turned in my gf's grand prix.....how necessary is it to get new pads as well??....or will the ones I've got eventually set in and wear properly??

Just curious...I figure if i can save the $$ why not.

If the pads are still good, ie undamaged and plenty of thickness left, it will be fine to re-use them.

Look at the pads when they are off. Don't be afraid to sand them a little if needed to make them smooth if needed or to remove a little bit of glaze if needed.

If the pads are in good shape and you like the way they stop, there is no need to change them. If in doubt, don't take a chance.
