I have a chance to buy a cold air intake fir $30. This kit is for a 2000-02 Zetec for a Forcus.
Would this fit my 95 Contour Zetec? It looks the same.
Would love to get rid of the plastic under the hood.

Unfortuantely it might require some modification to fit. Many people have used Focus intakes to install on the Contour, But the problem with them is usualy the hole for the MAF... On a Contour intake the MAF just goes on after the piping, then the filter clamps to the MAF. On the focus the MAF just removes from the stock tubing and can be bolted into the CAI's Tubing. Do you have a picture of the tubing on this CAI?

Yeah some modifications will be needed. And is it a REAL cold air intake? or is it a warm air intake that sits in the engine bay?

The filter sits in the bay behind the battery.
I found this on E-bay. I'll try for some pics.

Yeah then its just an intake, not a cold air. For a cold air it must get "cold air" and when it sits in the engine bay it just takes in the warm air the engine produces. Still cool to have. That is what I have.
