Hey! Can someone tell me what is the best air filter and intake to put in my 99 SVT.

try searching a little and research the ups and down to each intake. i, personally, did my own. for simplicity's sake, i'd say the sho-shop w/ the heat shield.

I've got the Mirko racing intake...uses a K@N RU-3130 filter.
It's a relatively cheap mod, with quite amazing results...
and it sounds soooooo good!

According to the Group Buy that is going on. Mirko now uses the Green Racing filter and not K&N. There MAF adapter looks sweet though!

Ya know, that doesn't sound like that bad an idea when you really think about it. You weren't serious were you??

I have weapon R intake and it sounds bad ass and it helps so so much but i think just about any intake is going to help when it comes down to it. I do recall however that somebody did a dyno with a filter that had the end open and it actually cause more turblance then with out the end open so you might want to think about getting a filter that doesnt have the open end. it only adds like 1hp but that is still a lot if you think about it
