This dude in my town has 10k tied up into paint on this GP! EVERYTHING is painted! Even the INSIDE of the bumpers and wheel wells! All House of Kolor, and I can't remember the exact number, but it has something like 15 coats of clear! Looks like glass, he hasn't even waxed it this year and it looks like this. I know ya'll flame this kind of paint, but it is a work of art, especially in person. Oh, I forgot to mention the tailights are even painted, but somehow when he has his lights on or hits the brakes, the light shows through almost as if no paint is there. kinda cool.

Yeah it looks alright, but from those pictures it looks a tad bit rough around the edges.

Look at the picture that shows the edge of the hood... might just be me but it looks scratched up. It needs a good detail since it just looks 'eh' to me right now.

Ug. Hate those jobs where they put plastic on it and take it off to make it look wrinkled. Sweet tribal from the 90's.

Without commenting on the paint itself since everyone is entitle to their opinions, who the hell spends $10k for a paint job and doesn't keep their car waxed and protected?

Actually that isn't how this was ddone...it's a chemical reaction, House of Kolor has a two step pricess for this effect. (or that's what he told me)

Too bad $10K doesn't buy taste.

Most Pontiac owners don't have much good taste to begin with so you can see what 10k buys...
That car has been around for a long time, I know it has been at the lane show a few times.

HoK actualy does have a marblizing agent, but the old school way is spraying a marble paint and using plastic wrap. I dont see that being 10k unless that whole car is HoK Kandy and was painted right. Kandy paints are near impossible to do without the surface looking cloudy up close. So few people can actually paint a candy colored paint job and have it look perfect that they charge whatever they want. The clouding is due to the fact that candy paints require many coats and this leads to some areas having more paint then others which leads to varying darkness of color.

The airbrush work is great

i appreciate the paint, but how can you put a paint job that loud on a car so simple, dosen't look right at all.
