I am tired of my hand slipping off the stock shifter knob.I'm going to upgrade with an aftermarket one.But i wanted to get your guys opinions on them and show me some pics of what knobs you guys are using! thanxs

Go with an 01 Cougar shift knob, can be had new from the dealer for around $50 I think, looks excellent, it's easy to find, and isn't too expensive (my bro has that exact MoMo shift knob, it was $80 before shipping).

Topic was just posted 3 wks ago. Search is amazing.

my B&M button knob is so much sexier than all of those, too lazy for a pic though.

Easy guys, I'm the pre98 with a transformer shift knob, remember? It transforms into a Bildo for Steedas Mom!

Hard to see in the picture but it's a roush knob, says Roush on it and has the shift pattern on it.

And I have a levoc napolex auto 'knob' on the zetec.

I have the same Roush knob as Kremit. I really dig it, but the threads don't line up properly so when it's screwed on fully the pattern doesn't line up. So, I used some teflon tape and it works just fine.

Take 3 for Roush..

Except mine is a Hurst style one.. with black powdercoat and white letters.

I really like the leather shifter knob from BAT INC it has the imbossed patterns..thanxs for the pics all of them are looking

Mine didn't seem to line up properly but I just kept screwing it on and off fully, maybe 10 times or little more and it kept getting closer to lined up and finally got right.

And wouldn't you think a Cougar shift knob would come from a dealer.

01-02 Cougars. The 99-00 had a nasty one in my opinion. I have a B&M shifter and knob on my Cougar.

but its aluminium (correct spelling) with 6 little blue led's around the outside

it's not exactly centered or anything, but this:

is the regular old B&M short-throw.

be wary of extreme temperatures, there's definitely a necessity for driving gloves in the winter; and on days over 90, an even greater necessity for very quick shifting.

No i didn't click your link I must have missed ut....sorry,I was asking where he had gotten it because I was hoping it was from a cheaper place than a dealer.
