What up guys -
Long time no postin on here.

Anyways, here's my question. What kind of insurance companies do you guys have that cover Driving events like these? Allstate just changed there rules to explicitly deny coverage at High Performance Driving Events. So I'm sol there.

Is there any daily insurance you can buy?

-Thanks,
Jason Holmes

Well, if we don't know, we don't know.

Anyway, try State Farm. No personal experience with them, but I've heard some agents are cool with it (being local autocrossers themselves...)

Otherwise, most companies will not cover you during these types of events, and you are lucky if they don't drop you outright once they find out that you ever do this type of thing. (Nevermind that it makes you a better driver for the 99.5% of the time that you are not autocrossing.) Stupid bean-counting actuarials...

The only thing I can think of for racing insurance is to be SPONSORED. Otherwise.. you break. you buy.

Have it towed about 2 miles from your house and tell Allstate that it happened there!

State Farm tells me they will only cover my car for one accident at a driving event. But my agaent and his supervisor are so cool that they were able to bend the rules for me a few times with my preivous cars. it has only happened twice but i have learned from my mistakes and hopefully i have no more collisions.

But check out state farm. It helps too if one of your family members is with them too.

The only reason I get such a good deal is because my Dad has been with them over 20 years.

Because you have too much time on your hands
It took me about 10 seconds to decide I didnt want to read any further.

You spun out at the parking lot, and hit the curb/light pole/whatever... We had a guy crashed his brand new Z06 in 2001 in a Solo II event, it basically totalled the Z06. He removed all the markings in a hurry, and had the tow truck towed it away. I believe he claimed it under collision or something.

state farm sucks, my rims were stolen three and a half weeks ago and they have yet to give me anything, all though, they did send someone out ot look at my car b/c i'm sure every car on blocks looks different for some reason. i think i'm going to have to bite the bullet and buy them myself and get reimbursed for them. insurance is so crooked, i'm glad i've only made two claims in 7 years to be hassled like this.

I have State Farm and I have been treated pretty well. Sorry to hear about your experience.
