is it a catback and how does it sound?

No it is not a cat-back, it is from the headers back. There will be different setups, each having a different sound. I can promise you it won't sound like a rice rocket. If the sound is what is important to you, then this probably isn't the buy for you, true duals are a performance mod first. They will sound awesome I am sure, but if it's just the sound you want, I would just upgrade the mufflers from the stock that's on your car.

will that dual kit be in stainless steel or alum?

Yeah, all im really looking for is sound. How do i get new mufflers? And installation?

The duals will come in both aluminized and Stainless. Ozzie, I would check the classifieds, I saw a set of flowmasters for sale last week for a pretty good price. Any muffler shop can install them. It depends on the length of the mufflers too, what type of setup do you have now?
