At times when interstate and highway driving at steady speeds, when I hit the gas for more power I hear the engine gurgle. Sounds like the injectors are dirty or something. Or is this a normal sound? Any ideas?

Pinging maybe? Is it worse on hot days. (Like there are any cool days in August... ) Try some 93 octane to see if that helps.
