I got up this morning, go out and try to crank my car, but can't.

It turns over fine, so it's not the battery, it's almost like it's not getting gas. Yet if I start laying in on the gas pedal while trying to crank it, it'll crank as long as I keep feeding it gas. As soon as I let off the gas pedal, the cars dies. It doesn't sputter or anything, it just stop running instantly.

Please help!!!!

TPS,ISC or MAF problem...assume it runs when the throttle is open & dies when its closed...

Had the same problem two weeks ago brought in the car, turned out to be the fuel pump, which was also giving me problems when I hit 4000 rpm car would lose power, thought it might have been the IMRC. Dealer replaced the fuel pump and the car runs and starts fine now.

If the car turns over but won't start I would check the crank position sensor first. Sometimes if you just wiggle it the car will start right up.

Don't know if you can do a search on the new forums and find anything but it's worth a try.

Looks like it's the ISC (seeing as to how after I tap on it, it works fine ).

Part is on the way, thanks for the input.
