I was inspecting underneath the contour when I found this...

It appears to be just a cardboard material. Wondering is its meant to keep the water and salt out of something. There's some type of clip thats busted.

Yeah, what are we looking at here? The EXTREME CLOSE UP is not helping.

Where is this piece located? Under the car I got, where? Are you saying that one side it is rusted out and the other is fine?

thats exactly what it is, I think hes showing that the passenger side tow point cover is missing... I dont think its THAT important, but if its bugging you im sure you can pick something up from a junkyard for super cheap.
