i actually talked to this guy about a month ago he orignally had it listed for $5500.00 i told him that i was interested and asked why it was priced so low. he felt that becasue it had a few dents that was all that he could get. i called him back later that evening to let him know that i would take it, he would not answer my calls. i left meassages and he would not call back. i then looked at the add and he raised it up to 7000.00, then 8000.00, now 9000.00. A background check shows that it was involved in a head on collision.

He should try Ebay.

Often a stack of $100 bills will resolve such issues of price. If it does not sell in the next few weeks, he may be willing to accept something closer to his original expectations.

Thank heavens for Autocheck. I wonder how badly it was damaged? The â??dentsâ? he has must be more like door dings, as they are not evident at all in the pictures.

Below is the AutoCheck Report on it: The good news is the mileage seems legitimate. The bad news is the â??front impact with another vehicleâ? on 11/28/2003. Is that â??Case #:0320046â? something thatâ??s public record? Properly repaired damage would not necessarily keep me away. New Headlamps, bumper cover and grill maybe? Hmmm

he did say that the dents were not too bad. he also stated that the tires had to be replaced. they had inside tread wear. seems kind of soon considering the low miles, unless there is some frame damage or alligment issues.

There probably is considering the "front impact w/ another vehicle." I would stay away from this car based on the mentioned points.

It might not have been that big of an accident, or even one that damaged anything more then the bumper and headlamps. My brother totaled a little Geo with his Intrepid, all that happened was a cracked bumper and needed a new headlamp.
Anyone try asking him about it?
