i wanted to throw this out there to my fellow CEG'ers to see if anybody might be interested in this.

before I sold my CSVT last week, I had found a way to make true yellow fogs (not changing the bulbs). to me...it came out VERY clean and gives off a pure yellow light. there is no yellow tint light, just pure yellow light.

i wasnt able to get a pic of them at night before I sold it, but I did get one during the day. even in the pic below you can see the great color output. so, basically im just seeing if anybody would be interested in something like this. because the SVT/SE fogs are so hard to come by, I would need you to send me yours. I can give complete instructions on how to remove and then re-mount them as well as I have done this quite a few times. it would be around a 5-7 day turnaround time (including shipping back to you). havent figured out a price yet, but would like to see a bit of a return for time/supplies but nothing outrageous. right now i just want to guage interest. maybe i was the only one who really liked this look, i dont know. but post up your opinions and thoughts on price.

I just bought some nice amber projector fogs. Had this mod come available a while ago i would have been very interested.

This is the best pic of the uhh fog i have haha. I still gotta snap a good front on shot.

Yeah, that looks kinda ghetto with a little tiny lamp in a hole meant for a bigger foglamp/casing. But if it works...

yellow tape? sounds kind of ghetto to me unless it is Lamin x which is extremely pricey.

but thanks for the ideas.

Not ghetto at all. I don't know what brand it is, it might be lamin x but I don't think so, cuz I know my friend wouldn't spend a whole lot just for yellow foggies. Next time I talk to him, I'll ask him. You can't even tell it's tape.

im pretty sure its lamin x or something like it. but it is definately not just yellow tape like you had said before.

What do you think that is? It's TAPE. It STICKS to the lights. Like I said:
"yellow tape made for this purpose"

I didn't say yellow duct tape or yellow elecrical tape. I said MADE FOR THIS PURPOSE. Also like I said, I think there are cheaper tapes, cuz I know my friend didn't spend $40.
Why don't you tell people what you do to the lights so they can just do it themselves?
Just trying to help folk.
