Cool, CA (yeah, that's a real town!)
I am quite happy with the look (in person) but I had hoped they'd be a little more subtle (darker). If you are looking for lighter than stock, these are definitely not for you as the wheel/tire is 9 lbs heavier than stock E1 with 195/50 KDW. My calculations (using a wheel offset calculator) turned out just right- inside clearance of teh 18" wheel is almost exactly the same as stock! Tire comparison calculator indicated about .6" dia diff, but the .3" higher ride is slightly noticable (maybe cuz the 40's don't flex as much as the 50's?)

Oh the bra! I just got it and had nothing to do for a whiel today so I wanted to make sure it fit ok. The bra is for my long distance driving when I drive down I-5 to LA. I still have to check the fit of the lower piece ...

You also need a lower air dam for that bumper. I couldn't put my finger on what looked weird about the front at first.

The front bumper looks like a cheap body kit with all the light showing through the mesh and the ground being visible.

Not my style, but the wheels look pretty good. The color combo goes good with a black car.

Now why did you have to go and say that for! Not planning on a new dam but what I am thinking of, and don't have money for right now, is lowering the car and inch or so. But as is, you might consider the lens of the camera was at hood level in the pic where you see light through the mesh. Bottom of the air dam measures 6 1/4" off the driveway. Don't know if it makes any difference, but the drive way is also at an incline of about 10-15 degrees. Anyway I look at it, much lower and I'll be scraping my air dam on my dailu commute up and down the canyon. THIS turn (going to work which would be down hill and to the left) is teh turn taht will get it.

If you're interested in checking out a cool daily commute, zoom out a taste and click/ drag to follow the road! Hmm, that might be an interesting trhead. Somone else do it cuz i"m threaded out!

i like the look of the factory bras i just bought one of ebay for less than the lebras they sell and the imprinted contour badge is of similar color to my mnb interior so it matches all the way around

I think you are referring to something totally different than I am.

The "lower air dam" I'm talking about is a plastic piece that runs between the bumper and the subframe. I covers that giant open hole under your front bumper.

Ahh, yah mean the shroud? The guy that did the swap didn't put it back on. Have to pick one up from a junkyard. At least, that's what I know the part as. Anyway, thanks for pointing that out, that one slipped away from my 'priority list'.
