Woodfield Hooter's Meet

Would like to get the ball rolling on a Chicago area meet ... We've had some bad luck w/weather, but w/Spring finally here, it would be cool to have one of Chicago's legendary Hooter's meets in Woodfield.

I say we do it in 2-3 weeks. What do you guys think?

Check out todays Chicago Tribune for a story on various cruize nights in the Chicago area. I go to the Friday nite Downers Grove one on a regular basis. It a good way to get together and and do the "car thing" at the same time. The Elmhurst one on Wednesday nights is nice as there are a number of pubs & resturants in downtown Elmhurst where it's held.

I used to go to the Downers Grove cruise night all the time.... long ago when I lived in Westmont. It is a little far to go now for an evening cruise.

I 2nd the Elmhurst wednesday's. Typically a lot of really nice cars and there are plenty of places to grab a bite and brew.

I went to the Downers Grove cruze nite on Friday May 27th. Not a big turn out but an interesting group of cars did show up. About a half dozen rat rods, two Panteras, a very nice Mekur XR4ti, and a Hemi Road Runner to mention some that were there, and a beautiful 1960 white Caddy convertable. It was bigger then my garage but I'd take it.
