whats better a 99 svt contour transmission or a svt focus transmission

answer: svt contour trans works... svt focus trans doesnt work on svt contour.

I don't know that one is better then the other as they are specific for each application and are not interchangable. The FSVT 6-spd is geared for a high reving I4 where as the CSVT 5-spd is geared for the V6 ... although other gear ratios can be used and provide differenc results for the V6.

I think the Getrag in the SVT focus is stronger than the MTX-75 in the Contour.

I have always heard the opposite. But I do not have any data either way.
