Hello everyone,
Recently I've noticed some rust spots appearing on the chassis of my car. As a preventive measure, I have used a rust converter product :https://www.cortenplus.com/products/rust-converter .

However, after using it, I've noticed that the surface of my chassis started to deteriorate. I was wondering if anyone could advise me on a product for its coating?

Thank you in advance for your help and advice.
Best regards, thank you

Tina

Thank you for your response and sharing, but I would like to know how we could proceed with its usage?

I would go with SEM rustmort for all the rust conversion. Definitely the best on the market, used it a lot over the years in restoration work.
Clean all the loose rust, coat with rust mort and let cure. After just hit it with a maroon scotch Brite pad just for some added adhesion, and top coat with an epoxy based paint. VHT chassis and roll cage is a good example of such a paint that won't break the bank.
Also get some fluid film spray cans and go to town spraying in all the unibody holes and right over everything you treated and painted. Fluid film is a wax based coating that slowly wears away over time unlike undercoating/bed liners, and being waxed based it repels water vs trapping it.
Hope this helps!
