what am i missing

trying to pull cel code from 1995 contour.following links it appears i dont have a wire in slot 4.does the front plastic come off of the eec module???lookin at this from where the wires enter i got wires entering slots 1,2,self test trigger ,3,5 and 6.nothing in 4 or am i looking at the #### thing the wrong way? thanks.

Just jumper Pin 2 to the STI (trigger) and count the CEL flashes on the dash.

thanks .i didnt know if the front came off and i was lookin at the rear! ill jump 2 and the self test.just turn to on or should i start the car?

thanks for the 2nd link.pics help.thought the access for testing was from backside/where wires enter.thats why post was entered.
