The back story :
The local museum has a display going on honoring the motorcycle , old , new , stock & custom - pretty cool . Had to shoot a bunch of pics . See all of the pics IN THIS FOLDER .

My friend's Vincent (one of a few he restored) :

A customer of mine built this bike , and had David Mann sign it :

Even a few Reading Standard bikes were on display (local stuff) :

All in all , a pretty nice display of all kinds of bikes .

The Captain America bike has an interesting story , and was restored at a local shop

They even had Peter Fonda's shirt (from Easy Rider movie) on display

A crazy bike by Arlen Ness

nice pics.

Awesome David Mann signature, wonder what he would charge to do a drawing of it...

I'm not crazy about Ness' stuff anymore, nothing looks like you could just hop on & ride. Any of the Hamsters stuff for that matter.

some will tie a strap around the left leg or tuck it into the boots...some just don't give a :censored::censored::censored::censored:

You couldn't get David Mann to draw anything at any cost ... he's dead :( . According to the owner , IIRC , David's never put his name on a bike before , and did it as a favor to him . They met while his bike was in New York on display . DM did some cool paintings .

That Ness bike was interesting because of the custom work & paint , but that type of bike is just dumb , IMHO .
