I need to shield my CAI from any and all water.
I've discovered that any water, even the slightest moisture buildup from the lightest rain, will add up to enough on my MAF to make it read wrong and shut the car down. This fits the issues of the past because it takes time for the stall to happen- and some time for it to fix itself (evaporate off). Someone suggested fiberglass window screen material on any openings under the filter- I was thinking of building something to fit around the filter instead, but not right up on it so it won't choke out. I'm going to think this up on my own as well but if you guys have some ideas, or suggestions, it'd be great to hear them.
And no Goonz, you can't say "I told ya so!" because my car didn't hydrolock
