No kidding. I have yet to hear of one breaking. Do they not have a warranty or is that just Quaife?

IIRC Torsen has a 1 year warranty. Quaife has a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser of all their products as long as it was not bought or used in the US, Canada, or Mexico.

Nobody had them in stock back then, they were all on back order,so at the time it was a good deal.

Well, while leaving work I made a hard left turn in the rain. Got some wheel hop then is started "clicking". I drove it a little more till the clicking started to clunk. I thought it was either suspension or a sub frame bushing issue. So, I rebuilt the entire front suspension. Still clunked. I raised the car and both wheels turned in the same direction like a full posi. I sent the unit into Toresn they told me that the gears were fine but the diff was out of round. That the unit must have been dropped before installation. Terry built the trans so I don't believe it was ever dropped. He gave me a ring and said to get the unit back and inspect it. I'll keep you guys up dated.
Wait.... what? You can't use the warranty if you use it in North America? How does that work?
