Thanksgiving Projects Round 2!

Well here's another one under way, you know cause I haven't spent enough time on a cold concrete floor :blackeye:

Headlight Panel Replacement! Wasn't really much to see one tear down, but here is the contour with the front in full monty:

Took out some black paint, and had at it:

And took black primer to the new headlight panel (grey = blah)

More pictures to come, but I'm kinda trying to warm up now. lol It took me about 1.5-2 hours to get the bumper off because I need to cut one of the bolts in the end. The little clip on bracket broke, and I dremel'ed the bastard out.

Now that I know it comes off...I can paint mine again to hide the silver behind the Elky Mesh.

You don't need to take that off to paint the silver part, just take off the grille. I used some black paint in a can and brush to paint mine.

Working on the cold concert is really starting to kick my ass (i've been in the garage the last 4 days)

Where I stand:

I repainted the lower part of the passenage fender (where it meets the bumper). That didn't turn out so great because I really need a finer grit/better buffer method. But its repainted, and the bad part is actually the overspray area and not the new paint. :blackeye: I also undercoated behind the fender wells since the plastic guards were off.

The panel is in, the passenage fender also go two addition bolts that were missing. The bumper is back on. The grill is on, and both headlights are bolted in.

As of right now, I need to put plug in the fogs, attach fender liners, put the tires on (winter tires), and align the headlights. Then I need to swap the rear tires. And then a test ride just to make sure everything is in order. :dizzy:

Besides that I guess I'm good to go to Harry's. Only thing I didn't get done was the rear shocks on the Cavy, and washing both cars.

yeah I'm gonna go to bed, cause i'm cold and tired.
