Hard-core CEG'er
...will not be getting my business again. I was just there for a uconn dyno day and the guy doing the pulls was a bit of a jerk. A little too much joking around that came off pretty condescending.
Strike 1: overheard another employee mention my car was coming up, explaining it was like an SHO. Dyno guy says "yeah well it's still slow"
strike 2: dyno guy starts my car up on the dyno and says "It's a contour, not a viper" implying that my exhaust note was not apropriate for the car.
strike 3: printed out my dyno with an absurd correction factor showing almost 300hp. Then says to me "post that one on the forums instead"
OK guy, I know the car isn't the 1000hp evo/sti you work with regularly but you don't have to be a prick about it. I don't understand people claiming to be a part of the enthusiast community as a hobby and business yet still pull crap like that. Not how you get repeat customers (not that he would be making lots of money from the "massive" contour tuner crowd but still.)
Anyway, I put down 162hp/162tq, and thats including a correction factor to make it more like a dynojet. It was a "Dyno Dynamics" dyno. Last time at bristol dyno I put down 147/150. Changes made since then were msds headers/optimized ypipe/removed k&n,installed stock intake. So +15hp/+12tq pretty much like msds advertises.
Also, I got nice comments on my gauge cluster along with praise from some young lad at autozone lol.
