SVT Battery Cover?

Anyone else have one of these or ever seen one? I got it at SZ years ago but never installed it. Just found it in the box collecting dust. I'm not sure how it's supposed to be installed since it would cover the terminals. I just did a quick test fit and the only way I see it being installed is without the tie down or if you're running a relocated battery. It clears the terminals on a stock battery but without the tie down.

All I know is that it was made in the UK and ordered by some people on NECO. (Why the SVT logo, I'm not sure)

Thats pretty sweet. It doesnt have holes for the terminals cause its made for a side mount battery.

lol! battery cover fail? For some reason i still couldn't mount an optima sideways. Even if this is for a side mount how would it work since the sides are not symetrical? Can you mount the tie down over the top then after it's fitted?

It looks like Crispy/NVMYSVT ran one before but I don't think she's around anymore. I'll see if I can dig up some pics. I think I'm just putting it up for sale.

It looks like it has self-stick velcro attached to it?

I would just gently snip what you need to clear the battery. Or use it as a cover for a box of contour memories

My thoughts exactly. But for a side mount it would work. Asking for a fire with top posts though.
