Superbowl

Can't make this shindig... prior commitment. Hope you guys have a great time.

I'm rooting for Pittsburgh to win so I get dinner bought for me instead of vice versa.

So as it turns out, I'm surprisingly NOT working tomorrow!

So here are my options:

1. Rearrange my room and set up my 27" TV and watch the game here
2. Call my buddy who lives in a nearby apartment and watch it on his HDTV
3. Go home and watch with the family
4. Go to NH and watch with teh Kimmeh and Cobra.

What should I do? lol

you do whatever you want to do.
as of right now, it'll be just the two of us. But I do have a good amount of food to keep at least 4 people happy.
I can't wait to make Primanti bros pastrami sammiches for the first time.
me so hung-ee already
We took Monday off, so we'll be hitting the local diner type place for yummy breakfast the morning after.

Or

5. Go to a bar/grille down in CT with a hot girl

I'm thinking I'm going with 5. LOL

what a bust, no offense to CEG steeler fans but I cant stand Pittsburgh, I hate those yellow towels lol. I really wanted Arizona to win but I guess their defense was outa steam in the end..Holmes was amazing however, mad props to him

I come close to the slaw...still can't get it right. I'll hit Panini's in Kent when I'm having a craving, it's a bit closer than Pittsburgh, but when in the Burgh nothing beats the original

so how'd they turn out? What did you do for the slaw?

haha I saw the pic and was like "HEY! I don't remember snapping pics last night!"
They looked exactly like that.

I made the slaw myself on Saturday (bag of shredded cabbage, 1/4 cup red wine vinegar, 1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper, good shaking of salt, couple tsp of sugar and some shakes of Franks Red Hot) and let it sit in the fridge overnight.
I should have taken it out and let it get to room temperature. The cold slaw made the rest of the sammich cool down fast, so they were luke warm when we ate them.
But overall, very yummy.
I had enough to make 8 sandwiches, and we were only able to eat 1.5 each.
LEFTOVERS!

ha...I used to email that pic to my ex, to ensure I'd be having it for dinner

the slaw sounds good, I know they use alot of cracked black pepper...I think I used a little oil the last time. Did the cabbage wilt a little bit?
