i have a 00 mystique 5 speed

everytime i try to pass or go over 3500 rpm it will start to choke. i changed the plugs and wires. that helped but it still does it sometimes. i run midgrade fuel in it with 10% ethanol it runs good until it gets to 3500 rpm. any help will....ummmm....help?
