never disassembled mine, but I believe there are caps over screws that hold it in. how to remove these caps without destroying them, I am unsure. if there is a little nib on one side of it you could use a small flat blade screwdriver to pop it off. if you have soldering skills, it may be some loosened solder joints, if the LEDs are truly burnt out, which I suppose could happen, they look like the "piranha" style (they usually list under that or "Hi-Flux") LEDs, shown here: and should be able to be desoldered and replaced.
