i currently have the stock 14" wheels and tires on my GL, Im planning on upgrading to the stock 12 spoke 15" wheels, will this cause my speedo to be off ??

Not if tire diameter/circumference is kept the same. The cars with the larger rims use a step shorter sidewall. Example is 205/60/15 and 205/55/16 tires are about the same overall diameter and circumference.

i used a tire size calculator and its saying my speedo will be about 5 mph too slow if i go from a 14 to 15 ???
what sizes did you input to the tire size calculator?
You can also go to tirerack and look at wheel packages. Input that your 14" wheel size and see what tire size it suggests for a 15" wheel. Just note that its close and there could be better options. When I went from 15" to 17" wheels tirerack recommended a 17" tire in the same width but was alittle taller then the typical 17" tire most use. no big deal in the end, just could have gotten a wider tire.
