spax shocks good or not

hi i'm looking to replace my shocks ,i have h&r lowering springs, i call bat in florida to get a good mid range shocks they talk me spax is a good choise, i'm looking for an opinion abouth spax with h&r or just spax , sorry for my poor English i'm from the dominican republic my car is a black 2000 svt contour i can't get a good opinion here in my country
 
if your ordering from BAT go with the BAt struts, good bang for the buck. not sure if anyone has used spax. check out the suspension forum.
 
thanks for the fast help one more question LokisTyro98SE are you using the bat shocks with lowering springs or originals springs ? i'm looking for a good shock that work whit my lowering suspension
 
I had the SPAX adjustables on my car before I sold it to BigBen, and really liked them. The rebound damping is not way overdone like on the Konis. I also drove Worldtour's car when he had the non-adj SPAX, and I really liked them too (they are why I bought the adjustables for my car)

I'm using them with Eibachs. I went from stock struts to BATs, so the change was drastic. I'm very happy with how BATs are tuned for Contours and they compliment the Eibachs nicely imo. They also rid the rearend of the "Eibach sag" that I've read about here on CEG.

I'm getting ready to replace my struts too. Can the BAT struts be used with the stock SVT springs?

I was wondering the same thing myself...but for the price I just ordered the whole kit.

EDIT: just checked my account. Money took out today. Looks like $690 shipped!
 
I am unfamiliar with the SVT struts and springs, but I am guessing there wouldn't be a problem using BAT struts that are designed for Contour/SVT Contours :shrug:

That makes sense. I just need a strut that is close to OEM. Not to stiff as I drive on my dirt camp road 15 miles everyday in the summer.
