i was talking to my friend Andy on Monday.
he drove by the new Sonic and said that the line to get in the parking lot was in the breakdown lane of route 1.
he gave up counting when he hit 50 cars!

i dont care how new or different a place it, i am not sitting in my car in the breakdown lane of a very nasty highway to go to it.

people are stupid crazy!

I want to try Sonic BADLY.

I'm glad I finally got some in New Jersey when I was there. Their drinks are just glorious. None of the food especially impressed me, but nothing negative either.

Slushes and the awesome assortment of drink flavors, combined with their teriffic ice, thats all I really need to be happy. Also: I can imagine any of the mountain of drinks would go just swell with some vodka or any other alcohol.

I've been to multiple Sonics in my (somewhat) area. Even at 2am, there was a 20 car line!

Though defiantly worth the wait every time .

If you're going to the Sonic in Totowa NJ, I'll probably be there this weekend anyway . I've been there practically every weekend since opening .

From the ads I've seen it looks like they are really pushing their drinks and the food is an after thought. I'd like to try out a Sonic but I'm not going to sit in a line that starts on the highway to get some. It can't be that good.

The drinks are what Sonic is usually visited for. At least that's what I've experienced. They have happy hour from 2-4 for half off drinks and slushies. The food is pretty alright. I like the chili cheese tots. And the chili cheese dog. That's about it.

hmm 5.82 miles from me....the commercials have made me want it so bad. maybe next month when the demand is lower.

I've driven out to a Sonic 3 weekends in a row and yet I'm still not sick of it. Sweet . Super Sonic Breakfast Burrito .

be jealous
Mike and I ate at Sonic one night last week. :P

I see what people mean now about how their drinks are good but the food is meh. Although we weren't hungry enough to try a whole bunch from the menu, so I can't base that off of the few things we ate.
The reason we went there was because our appetites weren't big enough for a nice sit down meal that night. Well that and we wanted to finally try a Sonic out after years of seeing the commercials on tv.

I'm curious how their jalapeno poppers are.
Good tots. I can't think of any other place I've ever eaten out at (aside from hot lunch at school) that serves tots. fun!

I enjoyed the drive up ordering. I can't recall if I've ever been to a drive-in diner. It's definitely something that needs to come back to this area.

Sometime back, I saw this sausage biscuit thing with white gravy advertised as part of their breakfast menu. I immediately informed my girl that that was something I had an interest in trying. Thus far, I have not indulged, but I'm with those that have already voiced their opposition to sitting on the side of Route 1 for some bush league fast food.
